Dr. David Bonanno is the proud owner of Anchor Dental & Implant Center, which he acquired in July 2024. Originally from New York but raised primarily in California, Dr. Bonanno pursued his undergraduate degree at San Diego State University and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Roseman University College of Dental Medicine. He and his wife, Sandra, chose to settle closer to family when they welcomed their son, Leo, in 2022.
Dr. Bonanno’s journey into dentistry began early, inspired by a church mentor and hands-on experience as a dental assistant during high school. His passion for transforming smiles and improving oral health is matched by his dedication to providing care in the most comfortable and efficient way possible. He discovered his calling during college while volunteering at UCSD’s Pre-Dental Society student-run clinics, where he saw firsthand the profound impact of dentistry on underserved communities.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Bonanno has extensive training in implant dentistry, IV sedation, cosmetic procedures, and root canal therapy. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and San Diego County Dental Society, organizations that reflect his commitment to excellence and innovation in the field.

If a covered fracture occurs, we’ll provide an exact duplicate replacement of your zirconia prosthesis. Cosmetic changes can be requested for an additional fee.
If an implant fails within the first five years, the implant and prosthesis are fully covered under your 5-Year Warranty. Failures after that period will require a new treatment plan and are not covered.
